THIS week, Lesotho-born musician Wave Rhyder joins On The Line.

The rising singer, whose real name is Thato Molupe, chats to the host Andiswa Ngenyane and answers the 10 fun questions on the queue for him.

Here’s a snippet of what you can expect.

Q: What is something that your followers would not know about you?

A: Probably that I wanted to be a pastor.

Q: What is the best piece of advice you have received and given to people?

A: The best piece of advice I’ve received is that I should always focus and not forget where I come from. The best advice I’ve given to people is that they shouldn’t give up on their dreams. They should always try to work towards them.

Q: If you had a full day off with no responsibilities at all, what would you do?

A: I think I’d be on my phone checking responses from people about my new song.

Q: What is the weirdest thing a fan has ever done for you?

A: A fan bought me a pair of shoes and it was amazing. They said they wished they could do something for me and bought me shoes.

Q: If you could choose a superpower, what would it to be?

A: I would want one that I’d make everyone in the world understand me, no matter the language.
