Project Manager Thabo “TK” Ntsepe told Daily Sun that this is a movement that caters for artists with disability in performing arts, music, poetry, storytelling, dance, and drama.
"We started with 20 artists and we have managed to give them platforms on various shows that we have hosted in the past years,” Ntsepe said.
He said the project focuses on getting more artists to perform in their shows to create awareness of artists with disabilities, and to show that they have the ability to perform on stages as well.
He said their aim is to ensure that they develop artists as best as they could.
"Artists invest their money in empowering others through workshops. We managed to assist about six artists and we have recorded three of their songs," he said.
He said the artists are following in the footsteps of legendary singers Steve Kekana and Babsy Mlangeni.
Project developer Maki Zanazo said she is happy with what they have achieved through these projects.
"Some of the artists that we discovered have been in the industry for many years. Others sang in the churches while some used to sing in school choirs," she said.
