The writing has always been on the wall for Sindisiwe “Nkosazana” Sibiya.
She’s originally from Thandizwe, Manguzi in KZN.
Her song Idlozi Lami is making waves on national radio stations.
“This song is a combination of urban and Zulu culture.
“It has positive messages that will hopefully appeal to a wide range of audiences. The song is bound to set the music scene on fire and is already enjoying reasonably positive reviews across all media platforms,” she said.
She said the song has gained more than 15 000 streams.”

She plans to launch her EP before the end of this year.
Speaking about her EP, she said: “This EP has six songs. They are Sivusa Abalele, Izindaba, Idlozi Lami, Themba Lami, Phanda Phusha and Ndonyamezela. In this EP I featured the likes of Master KG, DJ Obza and Papi. The EP is a mix of positive messages. This EP is bound to set the music scene on fire. I say this because the songs are already enjoying good airplay.”
Nkosazana has been in the music industry long enough to know its ins and outs.
She started her musical journey at the age of 11 years.
She joined her father’s family band.
“I’ve always known that I am a natural performer. This is because I was born to sing and I know how to sing.
“So joining my father’s band was only the beginning,” she said.
After matric, she got a diploma in performance from the Central Johannesburg College.
“After graduating I was fortunate enough to get leading roles in productions such as Umoja and Lebo M’s Lion King,” she said.
She also had an opportunity of collaborating with artists such as Dorothy Masuku, Abigail Khubeka, Zahara, Thandiswa Mazwai, Khanyo Maphumulo, Kholeka Sosibo, and Sayi Ntuli.
