He will be touching down at OR Tambo International Airport today, Monday, 6 February at 12pm from Asia.

“I know it didn’t go as we planned. But I’m filled with smiles as I received these awards.
“Allow me to dedicate these awards to you, Mzansi family. You played a very huge role on this journey. This award will always be dear to me. It will always be a reminder of the hard work I’ve put in this contest.
"Eco Hotel in the Philippines will use my face on their billboard and flyers. This shows we have won the world’s hearts. That’s a big win,” he said.
His manager, Jubilation Magagule, said Mabaso will be embarking on a media tour across Mzansi until the end of February.
“This has been a very tough journey. It took us seven months to prepare, and we got the time to learn more about the tourism sector. What I like about Abednico, he’s very smart, humble, and easily adapts to any environment. That’s why it was so easy to let him go to Asia without me while we are busy with the team trying to mobilise a homecoming event for him.

“We will be hosting his homecoming in Bushbuckridge on 4 March. We will announce the venue in due course. We will be hosting a private gala dinner with stakeholders. On the following day, we will host a celebration with everyone. There will be artists performing and soccer games. So sponsors are also invited to come on board to donate. They can contact us on 071 497 2900,” he said.
“We still wish for more. Mabaso will be taking a break for now, relaxing, before entering another pageant soon. Maybe in the next two months,” he said.
