TOUCHED by the ongoing gender-based violence, DJ Mngadi uses his music to encourage love and kindness.

He always keeps music lovers on the dance floor while preaching and promoting love through his music.

DJ Mngadi, whose real name is Sihle Mngadi from KwaMaphumulo in KZN, has recently kept music lovers playing his hit song, titled Uthando Lwami featuring AmaSiblings on repeat.

DJ Mngadi worked as a digital specialist for 15 years on Ukhozi FM.

He has released a second five-track EP titled 2nd Episode, which he describes as a continuation of a music journey that intends to narrate their stories and give new talent a platform to showcase their music skills.

DJ Mngadi said he has embedded in all his music messages around love to fight gender-based violence.

“Speaking positively and complementing your lover is the starting point for me in a romantic relationship or any relationship for that matter.

“If we cultivate a culture of complementing each other, speaking kindly to one another, that leaves no room for anger, bitterness and unkindness in a relationship,” he said.

DJ Mngadi said his new music is a cocktail of dance music, a fusion of amapiano and gqom.

It is brought to life by exceptional vocals.

He said his new songs inspire and has good songs such as Khauleza with Mnesh & Golden RSA and Umuntu Wami, featuring Malungelo.

Mngadi shocked many people when he left Ukhozi FM to focus on his music career and started his recording label called Floorspinner in 2021
