MASKANDI star Phumlani “Imfezi Emnyama” Khumalo and trap artist Intaba Yase Dubai have been at each other’s throats on social media since last year, making fans wonder what happened between them.

Now Imfezi has finally revealed why they became enemies after being best friends.

He told Daily Sun their relationship broke down after he found out that Intaba tried to steal his girlfriend.

“I thought we were best friends but my girlfriend told me he was asking her out. I noticed he was a bad person,” he said.

“I met him in Joburg and we started featuring each other on tracks in 2018. I wanted to promote him and introduce him in the music industry, but he eventually showed me his bad side.”

Imfezi said he had WhatsApp message to back up his claims, but he didn’t want to share them to protect his girlfriend.

Intaba, whose real name is Lindokuhle Msomi, denied the allegations.

“Yes, I know of the allegations but they are not true. I knew him even before he met his new girlfriend. I agree I was chatting to his girlfriend on WhatsApp, but I was not asking for love,” he said.

“We were chatting because she is a nice person who talks to everyone. Imfezi is being influenced by other people who made him hate me. They are sabotaging my name. I only dated his manager’s girlfriend but I didn’t know they were together, and I stopped when I found out.”
