Moretele Tribute Concert: It was a show like no other!

T he energetic performer, Makhadzi, received love in Mamelodi, Tshwane, following one of her amazing performances on Saturday.

Makhadzi, real name Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, said she was shown true love and support by her fans as they continued singing along with her from the first song to the last. The singer, who is originally from Ha-Mashamba in Limpopo, said: “Imagine performing for an hour, fans screaming and singing along with you. The love is just too much.”

Makhadzi said she will continue performing in the Moretele Tribute Concert.

The Matorokisi hitmaker said the energy she uses to perform is natural and the other thing that makes her go mad is the response she gets from fans.

“Whenever I see love, I deliver the best,” she said.

She left fans begging for more.

Mango Groove, Mafikizolo, Skwatta Kamp, Don Laka, Amadodana Aseweseli, Ringo, Thammy Mdluli, Tu Nokwe, Berita and Ami Faku also wowed fans at the event.

John Layden of Mango Groove said: “We really are getting busy now and it’s a wonderful thing to be back in the open and singing in such a lovely concert.”

Mafikizolo’s Theo Kgoslinkwe said: “We had a great time.”

One of the concert-goers, Casper Mabunda, said: “I came in the morning to dance along with my favourite musicians.”

Tebogo Maseko said: “This was wonderful and seeing my favourite artists perform live was magical.”
