SOUTH African musician and dancer Moonchild Sanelly recently partnered up with a whisky brand, Scottish Leader Whisky, on their new limited edition bottle called the Moonchild Sherry Cask.
The 35-year-old musician from Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, will be working alongside the Scottish Leader blending team to create a whisky ideally suited to the South African palate.
Taking to social media on Monday, Moonchild posted a video expressing her excitement regarding this new edition.
She wrote: “Super excited @scottishleaderza x Moonchild edition bottles out now. Go get yours at a store near you or link in my bio boobeams #bravemakesit.”

The Sherry Cask expression tells the love story of soft spice, ripe fruity notes, and seductive sweetness.
With only 12 000 units being produced, this special edition is available at leading liquor outlets at a suggested retail price of R300.
Moonchild is known for her signature blue hair, and her self-created music genre called “Future ghetto punk”.
Her music has reached audiences beyond South Africa’s borders.
In 2019, Moonchild was featured on Beyonce’s The Lion King: The Gift album in the song My Power along with Busiswa and others. Towards the end of 2019, she dropped her four-track mini album project titled Nude EP.
