MOONCHILD Sanelly is getting closer to her dream of winning a Grammy award.

Her new track with British artists Jelani Blackman and Trillary Banks, titled Comfy, just kicked Beyonce’s Cuff It off the number one spot on the UK music charts.

Cuff It stormed to the top of charts and trended on social media platforms across the world, thanks to its popular dance challenge. It was released in August.

Moonchild (34), real name Sanelisiwe Twisha, shared her exciting news on social media with a screenshot of her track’s position on the Black Music UK Top 20, where she beat international stars like Lil Nas X and Tyga.

“Look what my boy @jelaniblackman and I did,” she wrote.

The singer from Gqeberha, Eastern Cape previously told Daily Sun it was her dream to win a Grammy.

Speaking to the SunTeam early in October, she said: “I know that one day, I will get my Grammy. My team is always going out for me.”

Moonchild recently toured in Europe and performed in over 30 countries, including England, the Netherlands and Ireland. She also went to Australia.

“My experience of the tour was amazing, especially seeing people singing along, who speak a different language from mine,” she said.

She worked with Beyonce on her 2019 visual album Black is King, and also world-famous musicians including Diplo and Gorillaz.
