THREE prominent cases will be heard in three different courts on Tuesday, 12 March.
The cases involve Uyajola 9/9 host and TV presenter Molemo "Jub Jub" Maarohanye, rapper Kiernan "AKA" Forbes and sport presenter Robert Marawa.
Jub Jub
Jub Jub last appeared in January and his case was postponed.
The 43-year-old from presenter will be appearing in the Joburg Magistrates Court. The Ndikhokhele hitmaker's defence lawyer, Terrence Ntsako Baloyi, requested an extension to revise his client's documents.
"We would like to ask for an extension for my client. We can make it until March this year," he said.
Magistrate Betty Khumalo told Baloyi that as long as he was seeking for an extension, it was okay.
She said the investigation has been completed a long time ago. The musician is facing multiple charges including rape, kidnapping, and assault.
This after he handed himself over to the Brixton Police Station and was released on a bail of R10 000 in July 2023. This was after actress Amanda du Pont told the cops that Jub Jub raped her several times, sometimes in the presence of her sisters when they were dating years ago.

AKA
The extradition application hearing of two suspects who were arrested in Eswatini will be heard on Tuesday.
The two brothers, Siyabonga and Melusi Ndimande, were arrested while hiding in Eswatini. Should the extradition of the two brothers be granted, they will be back in South Africa to join five other suspects.
The brothers had appeared in the Manzini Magistrates Court in Eswatini, and the matter was postponed for Tuesday, 12 March, because South Africa hasn't filed the comprehensive extradition application.
The court was still waiting to receive extradition papers from the country's National Prosecuting Authority (NPA).
The two were caught in Eswatini two weeks ago. They are allegedly linked to the killing of AKA and Tebello "Tibz" Motsoane in February 2023. They are also linked to two more murders in Durban, which occurred between February and March.
The Ndimandes, along with five other suspects who were held in South Africa, Lindokuhle Mkhwanazi, Lindani Ndimande, Siyanda Myeza, Mziwethemba Gwabeni and Lindokuhle Ndimande, are suspected to be the men who orchestrated AKA and Tibz’s murders.
The five suspects who were held in South Africa are expected back in the Durban Magistrates Court on Thursday, 14 March for a bail application.
However, AKA and Tibz's were shot dead while exiting the Wish restaurant in Florida Road in Durban, in February last year.
Robert Marawa
A man suspected of stealing and damaging property belonging to a well-known sport presenter is expected back to court on Tuesday, 12 March.
The suspect (53) will be appearing in the Nkandla Magistrates Court on charges relating to malicious damage to property and theft.
He was arrested in connection with robbery at the sport presenter Robert Marawa's business property.
His first appearance was on 27 November 2023 and was remanded in custody.
This after the incident that happened at Marawa's business premises in Nkandla, northern KZN, on 5 November to 25 November 2023.
It's alleged that Marawa's business property was targeted by thugs who broke in and stole.
Robert (50) owns business property in his birth home of Nkandla called Fort Louis also known as KwaMarawa. He inherited it from his late father Flank Marawa, who was a well-known businessman in Nkandla and Durban.
It's believed that Marawa's business property which is rented by other business people who are running a spaza shop, supermarket, and bottle store was damaged and some of the materials were also stolen.
