MAYTEN has made it a point to be heard and seen internationally.
He has reached 500 000 streams on Spotify.
Mayten has also worked with some United Kingdom artists and is set to release an album and single soon.

The 22-year-old musician from Tshwane told SunBuzz: “I started making music in 2017.
“I derived my name from my birth month and date which is on 10 May,” he said.
Mayten, whose real name is Misheck Siwela, said he has always been a big fan of music, particularly reggae, hip-hop and R&B.
“I spend most of my time in the studio recording, which made me realise that my music could go places. The first song I did was personal and as much I believed in myself, I never thought I’d get this far as right now I’m sitting on half a million streams on Spotify,” he said.

“I’ve worked with quite a lot of artists such as Blxckie, Master KG, Makhadzi, Mr Brown and S1mba from the UK.
“I’m not only grateful for working with then, but I’ve also learnt a lot from them.
“At the moment I’m willing to work with artists I can connect with but the people I’d like to work with most are the likes of Burna Boy, Wizkid, Msaki , Cassper Nyovest and AKA.”
