RADIO presenter and DJ Nthabeleng Matela, better known as Mat Elle, is set to take over the radio and music industry.

The 31-year-old Afro Tech DJ from Carletonville, Gauteng, aims to become one of the best presenters in South Africa.

“I kick-started the year on a very exciting note with a brand new show on Metro FM, The Weekend Breakfast Sounds Good, on Saturdays from 6am to 9am. I was also a headliner DJ for the Tap Into Metro FM Cruise to the Portuguese Islands,” she said.

Mat Elle has made appearances on MTV, Trace, Channel O and SABC1.

She is also planning to release music.

Mat Elle said: “I will definitely be releasing music this year. I’ve been in the studio working on some Afro-house hits. I cannot wait for South Africa to hear what we are cooking in studio

“As a DJ, I’ll be touring South Africa, but also my team and I are working very hard to secure performance dates in Africa.

“More details will be shared after July. I’ll also be part of a new TV music show.

“I just wrapped up a 50-day property investment show with EDP and Private Property. I cannot wait for everyone to be a part of that too.”
