MASKANDI singer Xolani "Sxubho" Mkhize is in hiding after he was robbed of money and survived a kidnapping by a group of men pretending to be police officers.
Sxubho, who is the leader of the maskandi group Abafana BakaMolo Bangempela, said the incident happened on Wednesday, 27 December 2023.
He said the group of men, who pretended to be cops, showed up at his place in Joburg and tried to kidnap him while punching him.
