FISTS and insults flew at the Goduka Music Festival on Saturday, 3 December.
The fight started on Facebook between Thibela Mpungose who is Khuzani Mpungose’s dancer and Mthandeni Manqele’s dancer, Mshovo Gazu.
Mshovo challenged Thibela to set the date and time so they could sort out their issues.

Thibela said: “You must come to Mai Mai at 1pm. I’ll swallow you and make sure you disappear for 12 hours.”
On Saturday, the dancers met at the festival and an ugly fight started.
In a video clip, ring leader Thibela can be seen hitting and shoving Mthandeni’s dancers.
“My fight with Mshovo has been going on for some time now,” said Thibela.
He said recently he challenged him to a fight, but he was too scared to come and fight so he attacked him at the event.
“I approached him with my fellow dancers and pushed him around. But he was a coward and jumped inside Mthandeni’s car. I could’ve dragged him out of the car but Khuzani stopped the fight,” said Thibela.

Mshovo said he was about to go on stage when Thibela and his crew came after him.
“They had firearms and other weapons. I was with other dancers so they attacked all of us. We did not retaliate because we thought of the event organiser and the fans. Otherwise it could’ve turned bloody,” said Msovo.
Mshovo said that he won’t open a case.
“I will sort it out myself,” he said.
Mthandeni said that he was inside the car when he saw Thibela and his crew attacking his dancers.
Khuzani said: “I don’t know who or what started the fight but I blame Mthandeni for not stopping it. He was supposed to jump out of the car and stop it. I also blame him for allowing the incident to be captured on video. The fans were not supposed to witness it because it promotes violence. Fortunately, I intervened and stopped the fight.”
