MASKANDI artist Mnikezwa Ngubane’s mourning the death of his father.

He announced the news on his dad’s passing on Facebook page on Saturday night, 6 August

He wrote: “It is with a heavy heart to announce the passing of my father. I was supposed to do a live video alongside my colleague, Ndaba. Unfortunately I received the news minutes before we could go live. For that reason, I can no longer continue with the live recording.”

Details of his father’s death are still unknown. -+

But his colleagues and maskandi supporters have flooded his page with messages of condolences.

His colleague Thokozani Langa comforted him and wrote: “This is sad and may his soul rest in peace. May you and your family find strength in these difficult times.”

Ukhozi FM presenter Zama Mseleku wrote: “Aawu!! Phephisa Somahhashi. May his soul rest in peace and may God comfort you and your family.”

Thulile Tana Taka said: “Sharing in your sorrow. With love. Dealing with loss is never easy. May his soul rest in peace.”

Nzuza Sizakele commented: “Condolences to you and your family, alwehlanga lungehlanga.”
