THATO “TT” MBHA has revealed that people used to mistaken him for late kwaito legend Mduduzi “Mandoza” Tshabalala, and he took full advantage of that.

The TV host and entrepreneur told Daily Sun that he used to gain entry into big events for free as bouncers thought he was Mandoza.

TT from Pimville, Soweto, wrote on Instagram on Tuesday, 22 September: “All I needed to do was travel with my entourage and wear dark shades and a vest.”

He said when he pretended to be Mandoza, he felt like a star.

“I didn’t talk too much as they would have noticed that my voice was not his.

“All I did was look exactly like him and keep moving,” he wrote.

TT said he used to hang out with Mandoza, which helped him pretend to be him. And he was lucky that no one suspected anything.

“I was just going to top events for free. They never noticed at all.”

When asked what he would have done had he been given a microphone and told to go on stage, he said he would have refused as it would have landed him in hot water.
