TV PRODUCER and actor Mandla Ngcongwane said he wants to honour female talents in Mzansi.
He said many women in the entertainment industry were not given a chance to showcase their talents.
Mandla, known as Mandla N, took to Instagram on Sunday, 14 August to share that he wanted to host a workshop that will highlight certain topics in the entertainment industry.
He said the workshop will be held at Baseline in Newton, Joburg on 26 August.
Mandla N said this workshop is for female producers, directors, writers, and actresses.
He said it will cover topics such as acting, behind the scenes, and entertainment business opportunities.
The actor believes in nurturing and building others so that they become better people at what they do.
The director of DiepCity said it will always make him happy to see others prosper in what they do.

He said he wants women to know more about their value in the film and television industry.
“We want them to be protected in this sector. We also want them to exercise their voice within the industry,” Mandla said.
Mandla said all this is presented by the Black Brain Academy. He said the workshop aims to empower all women in the entertainment space.
“Black Brain Academy presents a Women-In-Film Empowerment Workshop, to equip young women in film to become tomorrow’s leaders of the industry,” he wrote.
Mandla N added that he can’t wait to see them as they will be sharing ideas together.
Some women took to Instagram and shared how ready they’re for this event.
“Thank God, I managed to secure my space in time. Can’t wait for the 26th,” Minnie Nxumalo said.
“I did not manage to get a ticket. Are there extra seats?” Mpho wrote.
“Another one! @mandla_n is doing the most. I cannot wait for the 26th of August,” Lebone Manyama said.
