LIMPOPO-born star Ndivhudzannyi “Makhadzi” Ralivhona allegedly left the producers of e.tv’s popular soapie Rhythm City in the lurch when she failed to pitch this morning. This was after being booked for a performance and appearance on the show.

According to insiders, the singer was meant to perform today, but she never arrived.

“They booked her to perform today on set, as is the norm for the show. But she didn’t pitch, which meant the producers had to scramble to find a replacement,” the insider said.

The Matorokisi hitmaker was apparently paid a deposit for her scheduled performance.

“She was already paid a deposit, which secured her performance on the show and she was also going to be in a scene. Producers had to find another artist to replace her at the last minute,” another insider said.

This all happened because she apparently had some issues with her record label.

“She is apparently having issues with her record label, which could be the reason she did not honour the appointment, leaving many people disappointed,” said a third source.

When the Sun Team called for comment, Makhadzi’s personal assistant promised to revert to us.
