PODCASTER Macgyver “MacG” Mukwevho’s upcoming episode with DJ Black Coffee has left many social media users not impressed.

This after he told fans of Podcast and Chill with MacG that the episode would air at Ster-Kinekor cinemas across the country. This is where Black Coffee, real name Nkosinathi Maphumulo, will be talking about his marriage and love life.

The decision to air this episode of Podcast and Chill with MacG on cinema, which he co-hosts with Sol Phenduka, left people who lived far disappointed.

And some of them took to social media to express their grief on Thursday, 16 February, after MacG uploaded photos of him and the musician.

He wrote: “Hee ndaa, ladies and gentlemen! The episode that we’ve all been waiting for will be at your nearest @sterkinekor cinema on 23 February. #BlackCoffeePremier #podcastandchillwithmacg #podcastandchill.”

And fans told him that this was not fair.

“It’s a good idea but FOMO will kill some of us who are far from cinemas. Giyani only has NuMetro. You guys are dividing us,” Nhlamulo said.

Mpho said she loved the idea as it showed that the podcast was growing.

Then Lindokuhle commented: “Sometimes we have to accept that some people deserve special treatment. Black Coffee is not like any other celeb on the podcast; he deserves privilege.”
