DRIP founder Lekau Sehoana is taking his business to new heights.
Lekau, who has made his mark on the footwear industry, is now planning to do it again by adding scents to his label with the introduction of a new product, Finesse by Drip.
Finesse is a new range of fragrances inspired by music and urban trends, and will have two different scents, Arion and Ruby.
The products will be sold at selected Drip stores and will cost R599 each.
Celebrity couple DJ Zinhle and Murdah Bongz will be the face of the brand.
Speaking to Daily Sun, Zinhle said she wanted to work with the brand as it embodied black excellence.
“Besides that, my partner and I are obsessed with smelling like a million bucks.
“Because we are also in sync with the story of the band, when the opportunity presented itself to be associated with a his and her fragrance, we knew it was a match made in heaven,” she said.
Zinhle said it was the first time she and Murdah were working together on a project, and it was the perfect choice.
She said she believed the fragrance would be a hit as it was unique.
She said she believed it would become her fragrance.
Lekau told the SunTeam Drip was always looking for ways to innovate and grow, which was how the fragrance was born.
“We’re proud to introduce two new perfumes to trendsetters across the country.
“A fragrance says a lot about a person and finding the right scent for you is not an easy task. Finesse will make that much easier,” he told the People’s Paper.
