NAVIGATING umjolo can be tricky and comes with a lot of surprises.
This time, Mzansi's unique dating culture is about to take centre stage on small screens with the upcoming reality show, Last Chance Love.
Last Chance Love is an unconventional dating show about self-discovery and finding true love and will premiere on Wednesday, 10 January on Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161).
The show aims to dig into this topic from a new angle and take viewers inside the lives of four young singles, each eager to break free from their relationship barriers which make it impossible for them to keep lasting relationships.
They’re not just looking for relationships. They’re also trying to understand why umjolo has been difficult for them.

M-Net’s director of local entertainment channels Shirley Adonisi said with Last Chance Love, they're embracing the season of love by offering a platform that celebrates what makes love stories in Mzansi different.
“The show is an expression of love in all its forms, and we’re excited to share their authentic and touching stories with our audience,” Shirley said.
The show is produced by The Narrators Africa, the team behind the top Mzansi drama series Nkululeko.
Last Chance Love follows the love lives of participants Sibu (35), a non-binary fashion designer; Zoya (30), a nudist chakra enthusiast; Thato (29), a life and business leader; and Bontle (23), a fluid DJ.
Guided by relationship expert Makabelo Motaung, the participants embark on a journey of self-discovery.
The show will feature four pivotal dates for each, with a crush, an ex, a setup by a loved one, and a blind date with a stranger.
On top of these experiences, they take part in personal exercises designed to develop a better version of themselves, all in the hope of breaking their toxic dating patterns.
