MUSICIAN Hlulukwenza Ngwazi believes in the power of manifestation.
The 42-year-old star from Port Shepstone in KZN calls himself "Mpunyela", which means tycoon in English, because he is manifesting to become a music mogul in the near future.
He told Daily Sun that he believes what he utters with his mouth will be successful as a prophet.
"I believe in manifestation, and I know that in the near future I'll be a tycoon like my name Mpunyela. There are many people who are prophets and make their prophecies come true.
"I've been in music for a long time. At some point I took a break to focus on my family. Now I’m back full force and I have a feeling that in five years I'll be closer to being a music tycoon," he said.
Mpunyela recently released his second 10-track album titled I Don’t Care, which takes his message directly to those who criticised him while he was struggling with his music.
"I released my debut album titled Ababulala Umama in 2009 and participated and won many competitions. In 2014, I won the competition in my district of Ugu when the late legendary musician Mbongeni Ngema conducted an album compilation for musicians in the districts of KZN under his record label, KZN Music House," he said.

He said the album titled Vezikhona Compilation, which featured various KZN artists, was released with his song.
Mpunyela said he then took a break to focus on his family and returned to the music industry in 2021.
"Since 2021, I've released singles and now I've released my full album under Somnyama Entertainment. Judging by the way I'm working with Somnyama Entertainment, I'm going to go far with my music. Soon I will be a tycoon," he said.
