South African Music Award (Sama) winner Kingdmusic is gearing up to drop another banger album.
The singer, whose real name is Denga Takalani and who won Best Contemporary Gospel Album at this year’s awards, will be releasing his third album next month.
His previous album, titled Denga, has reached 10 million streams on Spotify and he’s promising an even better one.
“With this new album, we have a lot of exciting features. It’s a bit different from Denga. We have a lot of pop, R&B and worship songs. It’ll have international features from Brazil’s Gabriela Gomes to Angie Rose from the United States, as well as Cass from Australia.

“And, we have a surprise guest from Maverick City Music. I’m really excited about that one. People can expect an album that’s uplifting and encouraging. Whether you believe in Christ or not, you’ll enjoy it. It will be released before the end of this month,” he said.
Denga also spoke about his Sama-winning album, Denga.
“The reason I named it after myself is because between 2012 when I started and the time I was releasing it, I had accumulated a lot of global listeners.
“I always have a lot of people from USA, Canada, France, the United Kingdom, all these first world countries, even Nigeria, Ghana and more,” he said.
“I wanted to put together an album which tells people who Denga is. This is an album with different South African sounds. Afro beat, Afro house, pop, R&B and put it in my language,” said Denga.
The singer said he wants it to reach all corners of the world.
“The reason we do this is because we want to bring people closer to God. I’ve worked with people who do secular music and it’s because we want people to relate to the music.

“This is the kind of music you can listen to when you are with friends or hosting a party,” he said.
“Some DJs even play my music at the club as well, and that’s what we want.”
Denga will also be going on a United States tour in March next year.
