COMEDIAN and maskandi artist King Nuba might seem and sound funny but he believes that he delivers a positive message through his music.

Born Yamkela Nuba (24), King Nuba said he is using his funny side to gain fans.

His funny gospel song, Wathi Ummm, is currently trending.

“This song talks about the person who is struggling but never loses hope,” said King Nuba.

He has kids as his backing singers, which makes the song even more funny.

King Nuba said he usually works with kids because he wants to inspire them to work hard to realise their dreams.

He said since he released the song earlier this month, he has been getting positive reactions.

“I’m a funny person. Some people look at me and just burst in laughter without me having to say anything. That’s how funny I am. But what I love the most about my funny side is that people get encouraged to not lose hope. I never lost hope when things were bad. I grew up poor but I didn’t lose hope. I’m where I am today because of my positive attitude. That’s why I make this kind of music,” said King Nuba.

He said when he is not doing with music, he visits schools to deliver motivational talks.

“I do a lot of things but motivating young stars is close to my heart. I call them young stars because I know they will grow and become stars. They are future leaders and they need to be taken care of physically and emotionally,” he said.
