Sol Phenduka said he's glad to contribute and help the SABC.

PODCASTER and radio presenter, Sol Phenduka, paid his outstanding TV licence fees live on air during his radio show.

Sol wanted to be part of the solution after Communications and Digital Technologies Minister Mondli Gungubele shared that a total of 9,2 million accounts have outstanding balances valued at R44,2 billion in SABC TV licence fees.

According to the minister, the R44,2 billion comprises of unpaid invoices and penalties levied for non-payment over several years.
