FANS of well-known superstar Justin Bieber need not worry because his tour will not be cancelled or postponed - regardless of his diagnosis with Ramsay Hunt syndrome.

The Anyone hitmaker has postponed some tour dates from other parts of the world, like the USA, but organisers in South Africa said there would be no changes.

He was meant to perform at the DHL Stadium in Cape Town on 28 September and FNB Stadium in Joburg on 1 October, as part of his Justice World Tour.

And unlike with other countries, he has not cancelled or postponed the concerts.Justin revealed earlier this week that he had been diagnosed with the virus.

According to Mayo Clinic, Ramsay Hunt syndrome (herpes zoster oticus) occurs when a shingles outbreak affects the facial nerve near one of your ears.

It is caused by the same virus that causes chickenpox. And after chickenpox clears up, the virus still lives in your nerves. Years later, it may reactivate and when it does, it can affect your facial nerves.

Announcing the news, Justin shared a video of himself, where half of his face could not move, including his eye not being able to blink.

"This is pretty serious, as you can see. I wish this wasn't the case but obviously my body is telling me I have to slow down," he said.

Dionne Domyan-Mudie, the public relations officer and events manager for the SA tour, told Daily Sun that there would be no changes.“There should be no concerns at all. He is still coming and there will not be any changes,” she said.
