MZANSI a cappella sensation, Just 6, is back on the global stage.

The group, known as the band with no instruments, is campaigning for their second Grammy nomination in the Best Arrangement, Instrumental, or Acapella category.

After their first historic nomination in 2022, the group is once again poised to make waves in the music industry, and this time, they're calling on their beloved South Africans to rally behind them.

Just 6 captured the hearts of fans around the world with their spellbinding harmonies and jaw-dropping vocal arrangements, which earned them their first Grammy nomination.

Nkosie Hospas, music director of the group, said the group's remarkable journey from the streets of Preoria to the world stage is a testament to their dedication and unparalleled talent.

"Being recognised by the Grammy Awards was a dream come true for us, but we believe our best work is yet to come. We've poured our hearts and soul into our new upcoming project, and we're confident it's something that will resonate with the world,” he said.

He said the campaign to secure a second Grammy nomination is a call to action for South Africans to unite and support their musical ambassadors.

“Winning a Grammy award has been a dream since the inception of Just 6, plus the recognition at a global stage would helps us in showing the African child that it’s possible and dreams do come true, with hard work, perseverance and belief,” he said.

Nkosie said the group started in 2011.

“We met at church as most of us were studying in Pretoria. We all related to each other through our love for a cappella music as we all grew up listening to it primarily,” he said.
