IT’S all systems go for the Joyous Celebration shows in Durban on Friday and Saturday, 29 and 30 July.
The shows are part of the popular group’s annual national tour.
This year, the group revealed that they’ll provide aspiring gospel groups and artists with an opportunity to share the stage with them.
Joyous Celebration’s co-founder Lindelani Mkhize said fans will be stunned by the performance.

“We’re expecting the venue to be packed since there are no longer Covid-19 restrictions. We’re adding tickets to be sold this year unlike the last two years where we were restricted by the Covid-19 lockdown. I’m sure that our fans had missed us,” said Mkhize.
He said that they won’t only perform the songs from the latest album Joyous 26, but they’ll also include tracks from previous albums.
“We will take our fans back to previous songs. Each and every album has songs that were warmly received by fans, so we will remind them what we’re made of. We also have new members in our group who have proven to be highly talented singers. Our fans can expect fire. We’ve never disappointed before, and we won’t disappoint them this weekend,” said Mkhize.
