Motivational speaker and musician, Dr Thobani Makhaza, believes many people are not yet successful financially because they are using wrong formulas.
Makhaza, who recently released the song Izwe leMEYO featuring Khuzani Mpungose, has penned his debut book titled Millionaires Formula aimed to change Mzansi’s people financial status.
The Durban-born motivational speaker said it was time for Mzansi people to stop accusing successful people of witchcraft.
The 32-year-old, who is the motivated speaker on SABC1 Listen for a Moment on Wednesday mornings, told SunBuzz that many people are successful because they’re using the correct formula.
“Not everyone will be good as an employee or business owner but it depends on the financial formula they’re using. Others believe they have bad luck but it’s not that. They are using a wrong formula and they need to change it as soon as possible.

Makhaza is also the founder of a non-profit organisation called Mind Empowers Youth Organisation that is helping more than 166 000 underprivileged youth with tertiary education every year.
He said he consulted many financial expects to put together formulas, challenges, clues and solution in his book.
“Now it’s time for Mzansi people to start using their own formulas instead of using Western ones.
“Western formulas hate us. How can I pay a car for six years and when I finish paying for it, it is old and tired. It’s time to change all of that,” he said.
Makhaza, who was honoured with a Doctorate in Philosophy in Human Development by Emanuel Bible Institute last year, said people must take a look at the KFC founder who kept losing jobs and ended up selling fried chicken and is now a millionaire.
The book will be official launched on 16 October at Mind Empowers Youth Organisation office in Durban.
