Lindokuhle “Intaba YaseDubai” Msomi’s decided to quit music after a war of words raging between himself and his record label Ambitiouz Entertainment.

The fight has been brewing since last week, when Intaba YaseDubai accused Inkabi Records and Ambitiouz of non-payment for the song, Imali Eningi.

He claimed he never received any money for the song.

Both Inkabi Records owner Big Zulu and Ambitiouz Entertainment dismissed the claims.

But he wrote: “I’m fighting that I’m on a big song which made money but I haven’t received even a cent. Mali Eningi had also an opportunity to be featured on a KFC deal, but I didn’t get anything from that. Besides that, I haven’t got a cent from a song.

“Whoever claims he has paid me money, he or she is lying. The only money I have and survive with is R3 700 which I receive from my company every month. I’m also not happy with it but for now I was just raising a point that as much as I have worked hard that doesn’t mean I’m appreciated the same,” he said.

“What I’m telling you is the truth and I can prove it by printing my bank statement and show you I haven’t received any money from Mali Eningi, and won’t accept any as from now on since I have realised I’m wrong for being honest,”

He then decided to quit music. “I quit music. If I die, it will be my choice,” he said.

But Ambitiouz Entertainment founder Kgosi Mahumapelo responded with proof of payments into Intaba YaseDubai’s bank accounts.

He told Daily Sun there was no truth in his claims.

“He’s been getting paid on regular basis and as per our agreement. The latest payment was made last week. He wanted to buy a car and we paid him. I provided proof of payments for the public to see. If there’s truth in what he says, then he must provide proof.”

Kgosi said he won’t allow Intaba YaseDubai to ruin his company’s reputation.

“My company’s reputation is already ruined by his wild accusations. I’m tired of sitting back and allowing artists to walk all over me. From now on, I’ll fight back with proof. Intaba YaseDubai must come back with facts.”

Daily Sun tried to reach Intaba YaseDubai but he failed to answer his phone or to answer WhatsApp messages.
