REALITY TV star and businessman Thato “TT” Mbha has written a book about his recovery from the coronavirus called Tough Talk With TT.
The estate company owner (41) tested positive in June after a cough that wouldn’t go away.
He told Daily Sun: “The book is a 19-day recovery journey and takes people through what I experienced, the pain and symptoms. During my recovery I was making notes on what was happening to me every day. It’s a survival guide for those affected, infected and recovered.”

In the first chapter, TT reveals the day he received his positive result was the darkest of his life.
“I remember getting a horrific text message from Lancet Laboratories confirming my positive status. I remember reading the positive text over 20 times, not sure what I was supposed to do.
“Fear and anxiety kicked in. I really didn’t know what to do. I wasn’t sure whether to cry or scream.”
TT said a few days after testing negative he got the news that his friend Somizi Mhlongo’s mum, Mary Twala died, but he couldn’t attend as he was still in isolation.
The idea of the book was to bring hope and healing.

“There are a lot of people out there who’re hopeless and believe this virus will kill them.
“The book is here to assure them they can survive and beat this virus. I’ll sell it for R100, and for every book sold I’ll donate R10 towards the Covid relief fund of my choice.”
TT told the SunTeam he’s scored a show on Soweto TV starting in September, Tough Talk with TT.
