IF you thought Luzuko Mxenge is the most vile person you’ve seen in Gqeberha: The Empire, wait till you meet his brother, Hlumelo Mxenge.

Hlumelo has returned to reclaim his throne as the King of Gqeberha and is willing to do anything to get out of Luzuko’s shadow.

He grew up hating the fact that people thought of him as the knock off of Luzuko Mxenge. He was always ready to prove that he was just as smart and capable of being just as successful as his brother and it hasn’t changed.

Luzuko was recently shot and he left the hospital to go look for his brother because he doesn’t trust anyone around him, especially his wives and children. He also wants to divorce all his wives. But he doesn’t know what awaits him because Hlumelo wants his life.

On My Brother’s Keeper, it hasn’t even been a day since Thuthuka and Fakazile got married, and Thuthuka is already bringing women into their home.

Yes, he didn’t want to marry Fakazile because he considers her an older sister, but he agreed to marry her, so why is he treating her this badly?

She is acting strong in front of him and his family, but she’s being vulnerable to the one person she feels close to, which is Thuthuka’s brother, Nqubeko. Maybe she should’ve married him instead.

The main reason for the arranged marriage was so they could merge the Shabalala family business, Shaba Snacks and Fakazile’s family company, Siyabutha. But she doesn’t want to do the merger anymore.

She outsmarted the Shabalalas and made sure Thuthuka signs an antenuptial contract, therefore, he doesn’t have any control over her businesses.

It seems their dad is going to convince Nqubeko to use the little power he has on Fakazile to continue to push for the merger, but is he going to win?
