SOUTH Africans and the rest of the world have come out to defend Trevor Noah after rapper Kanye West attacked him.
In an interview, Kanye was talking about his marriage to his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. He then mentioned Kim’s ex-boyfriend, Pete Davidson and also threw in Trevor’s name, saying he’s not American yet he’s commenting on his marriage.
“Trevor Noah, not even from America. He just looks black,” he spouted.

Months back, Kanye was publicly trying to get back with Kim Kardashian and Trevor commented on it in his show. He said Kim should be careful of Kanye’s ‘abusive behaviour’.
Since then, Kanye has been targeting Trevor. The last time he attacked him, he was banned on Instagram for racial slurs against the comedian.
This time, Mzansi weren’t having it and stood up for Trevor.
Twitter user, Lutho Noyila, wrote: “Kanye West must leave Trevor Noah alone, otherwise we, as South Africans, are gonna deal with him properly.
Another user, YamaEmilie, said Trevor never said he was American.
“Kanye and his attics fam Trevor Noah constantly talks about being South African not once did he ever refer himself as an American. Kanye needs to tell us where he’s from because it’s not America,” she wrote.

Then, Jagman said Trevor is more black than Kanye.
“By virtue of where he comes from, and the culture and traditions he was raised on, Trevor Noah is more black than this clown. F*ck Kanye West and everyone that’s down with him,” he said.
Trevor’s friend and Kaya 959 presenter, Sizwe Dhlomo, also commented and swore at Kanye, but he has since deleted the tweet.
