IT’S a battle between South African rapper, songwriter and record producer Nasty C and Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie.

This comes after a radio interview Nasty C did with Metro FM, where he was freestyling and mentioned that Sarkodie refused to shake his hand and that since then he has refused to feature in songs that Sarkodie wanted him in.

According to Nasty C, Sarkodie has since sent two requests to feature him, but he declined.

“See when I first met Sarkodie, he wouldn’t shake my hand, cool I’m not too proud to say I’m still a fan but I held a grudge and told myself to wait till I’m the man.”

After Nasty posted the clip, it went viral on social media and about after a month of not responding, Sarkodie also dropped a single titled Landlord and responded to Nasty C’s allegations.

In the diss song he said: “I heard the young champ is hurt. I’m sorry. But anytime you meet the highest, all you need is just a marker and grab an autograph and get the fuc# out. I aint got (don’t have) to shake your hand so you walk out and so you know, it’s not me you’re fighting, it’s your own ego and a couple of things you need to sort out.”
