MAMPINTSHA was like a father to me. These were the words of gqom singer, and songwriter Madanon.

The musician from Umlazi, KZN, whose real name is Ndumiso Ndimande, said Mampintsha, who died in December 2022, loved and supported him when he was still alive.

"Mampintsha was my industry father and a brother to me. He was a good person who showed me so much love from when my music career took off," said Madanon.
