ACTOR Siyabonga Zubane’s memorial service is underway at the Joburg Theatre in Braamfontein.

“It is with heavy hearts that we confirm the passing of one of our cast members, Siyabonga, who played Sdumo. He passed away in the early hours of this morning,” read the statement.

“We pray for his family’s healing through this devastation. May his soul rest in perfect peace. Losing such a young person with immense talent, who had a bright future ahead, is a complete loss to the entire industry,” it continued.

This is his second memorial service after the Tshwane University of Technology held one for him on Wednesday night. He will be laid to rest on Saturday, 14 May.
