"I NEVER thought I was going to act again."

These were the words said by veteran actor Peter Sephuma. He said his acting journey was filled with ups and downs.

The former star of e.tv soapie Rhythm City told Daily Sun it took him courage to be on set again.

This was after the soapie was canned in 2021. The 69-year-old Joburg-based actor played the role of a businessman named Miles Vilkazi and is now back with a bang.

Peter said coming back was difficult and he did it because he loved the storyline as it resonated with him. He said he is currently in between shoots for the new drama series on 1Magic called How to Manifest a Man.

"I'm grateful that there are people who still look at me and see great talent. This means a lot to me as I never thought I would be back into acting.

"I have been off set for a while and being back feels good again. I love what I do, and this production means a lot to me," he said.

Peter said he can't wait to show his fans and viewers at home what he's made of.
