FORMER Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana midfielder Bennet Chenene (39) has answered his ancestral calling. 

The soccer star revealed to the Daily Sun that it took him a few years before he could make this lifetime commitment. 

“While growing up, I used to have dreams and visions, and when I started playing soccer, I could have visions of myself going to score goals. I never took my visions and dreams seriously, and I would make jokes about them because I didn't understand that they indicated that I should follow my calling and do what God and my ancestors have called me to be,” he said.
