The five-days music extravaganza will be a music knowledge-sharing and networking event that will bring music professionals together under one roof.
The event is celebrating its 15th anniversary and is to be held at Durban ICC and other venues in Durban. It will start from Tuesday, 29 August until Saturday, 2 September.
Event organisers said the event will offer an unparalleled platform for music professionals and enthusiasts to engage in a series of captivating activities.
It will include panel discussions, exhibitions, artist showcases, masterclasses, moot court competitions, music listening sessions, video pitching sessions, as well as music focused-film festival.
Event organiser Sphe Mbhele said renowned artists such as Yanga Chief, Nana Atta and the talented beatmaker and producer MashBeatz will perform at the event.

“The Music Imbizo is delighted to host esteemed organisations such as Sheer Publishing and the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission along with representatives from Creative Art Collage.
“We are also privileged to welcome festival directors from prestigious events like AZGO Festival (Mozambique) and Jacaranda Music Festival (Zimbabwe), among others,” Mbhele said.
He said musicians should come in their numbers to meet each other, share knowledge about the music industry and grow.
“The event will also be attended by radio station music compilers who will listen and give advice. Those who want to learn more about music as the business better attend.
“Many things will be happening at ICC but there will be other activities in other places around Durban. There will also be film viewing,” Mbhele said.
He said other places that will be used as music concerts will be The Warehouse, Stable Theatre, and The Chairman.
“There will also be music writing masterclasses to be led by Nana Atta and Yanga Chief while there will also be sessions to produce the music,” he added.
