REALITY TV star and influencer Faith Nketsi-Njilo recently opened up about her birth experience.
This gave other women a chance to talk about their own experiences.
A few weeks after sharing amazing photos of her hubby Nzuzo Njilo and their newborn on Twitter, Faith has opened up about how scary and painful her labour experience was.
The 27-year-old from Joburg took to Twitter and said:
“My birthing experience was horrifying. I remember begging for a C-section at 8cm dilated. I still don’t understand why they didn’t do it.”
She said despite the trauma, she is happy that she did it the natural way.
“I was up and about like nothing happened the next day. For the second baby, I am definitely opting for a C-section,” she wrote.
Faith said she spent 26 hours in labour, which was enough to make her never to want to go through that again.

Her followers also shared their worst moments when they were giving birth.
Joy said her labour was difficult and this is one of the reasons she doesn’t even think about having a second baby.
Kea commented: “My last birthing experience was four years ago, but I’m still traumatised. I’m pregnant again and get panic attacks when I think about going through that again.”
“The second time will be easier, don’t worry. My first birth was also natural and I spent close to 12 hours in labour. But with my second child, I only spent two hours in labour,” said Ntando said.

“I wouldn’t recommend a C-section. There are so many things you are not supposed to do and the pain you go through after the cutting is so unbearable. I’m not even thinking about another child,” said Thando Shongwe.
Akhona said both her kids were delivered through C-section as she could never put herself through the pain of going the natural route.
