FACT Durban Rocks organisers have accepted DJ Zinhle's withdrawal for her performance for an event that will be held in Durban on 1 July.
DJ Tira, who is the organiser of the popular annual event which DJ Zinhle normally performs at, said they support her and will replace her with Lerato "LKG" Kganyago.
Zinhle was booked to perform at Fact Durban Rocks, but she announced that she is not ready to set her foot in Durban after the father of child, Kiernan "AKA" Forbes was gunned down in the same city.
“I’m not ready for Durban. Emotionally I’m not ready at all. I get anxious thinking about being in Durban. It is going to be a while before I can be in Durban. I’m going through the most and forget about seeing me in Durban. It is just hard,” she said.
AKA was shot dead with his friend Tebello "Tibz" Motsoane at Wish restaurant on Florida road in Durban when he was booked to perform in Durban on 10 February.

DJ Tira told Daily Sun they supported DJ Zinhle’s decision to pull out.
“We support DJ Zinhle in her decision. We booked LKG in her slot. All is going well with preparations for Fact Durban Rocks.
“We are looking forward at hosting people who will be attending Fact Durban Rocks this July,” he said.
DJ Zinhle was going to share the stage with Big Zulu, Sjava, Q Twins, KO, Blxckie, Nkosazana Daughter, DJ Tira, Kabza De Small, Lwah Ndlunkulu, Lamiez, Babes Wodumo, among others.
Tira said in 2013, with no restrictions, everyone in Mzansi and neighboring countries will be meeting in Durban on Saturday.
“It’s Durban’s busiest weekend and we have kept everyone rocking 6-6 since 2021,” he said.
