EMTEE is celebrating three plaques that were certified gold!

The 30-year-old rapper, whose real name is Mthembeni Ndevu, shared the good news on social media on Sunday, 19 September.

He thanked everyone for honouring him, including the We Are Platoon site, which helps musicians with digital management.

The news were first shared by his Emtee news page on Twitter, updating his fans of his progress on the music scenes.

“Congratulations @emteerecords. Well deserved, king. Ithemba prod by @BFB_mw, Long Way prod by @RealKnifeBeatz And Logan are certified gold,” read the tweet.

Emtee also wrote: “Thank You @weareplatoon.”

The Roll Up hitmaker’s fans shared that they knew that his album, Logan, which is named after his kid, was doing well.

The album was released earlier last year on all digital platforms and featured songs such as Ithemba and Logan.

His fans congratulated him.

Bright wrote: “Congratulations, my brother. Bless you. You deserve it. I’ve been streaming those songs a lot.”

Matsobane said he was touched by one of Emtee’s songs, titled Anything For Ingani Zami.

He said he felt it deeply, and it was one of the amazing songs on Logan.

He thanked Emtee for the good sound.

Maxwill Morake wrote: “Logan was the best hip-hop album to drop last year. There was a lot of bangers on that album. Glad it’s certified now.”

Sabelo Cele said the album was superb and he enjoyed it.
