ACTRESS Nombulelo Mhlongo is hoping to scoop her first African award and fly Mzansi’s flag on the African continent.

Nombulelo, who played nurse Sne Mtshali on Durban Gen before it was canned by e.tv in January 2023, is nominated four times in the Zikomo Afrika Awards.

The 31-year-old actress from Pongola, KZN, who has appeared on Uzalo, Skeem Sam and Ifalakhe, is nominated for Best Supporting Actress, Best Actress Southern Africa, Best Actress Africa, and Best Most Inspirational Women.
