DJ TIRA and Ngizwe Mchunu are at each other's throats.
The source of their fight is a video clip shared by Ngizwe a month ago on his Facebook page.
In the video clip, Ngizwe accuses Tira of being jealous and closing doors for the up-and-coming artists.
“DJ Tira, I am highly disappointed in you. You make us drink urine, and you call it a cider. Makoya, let me tell you this, not everything is about you, and not everything revolves around you,” said Ngizwe.
“I fought for maskandi music and made sure it's up there on the map. When a maskandi song, Van Damme by Mroza Fakude won the Song of the Year competition on Ukhozi FM, everybody was happy except you Tira. You are wrong, Tira. You’ve committed a sin. My God and the ancestors will punish you for this.”
At that time, Tira wrote on his Facebook page and said he would not waste his time on Ngizwe.
But on Friday, 16 June, the two met at Nkosinathi Mcabangelwa Cele Tournament in Eshobeni, and Tira decided to hit back at Ngizwe.
In a video clip, DJ Tira is seen talking to the audience, saying Ngizwe must come to him and apologise for what he said.

"I am Mtiriman. I am focusing on my hustle, my cider is doing great, and people love it, but you (Ngizwe) are talking shit. You’re being forward, and I’m not your friend. You come here on stage and pretend to be fine with me, yet you know you’re making me a fool. If you speak kak, I’ll tell you here and now," Tira said.
In another video clip, Ngizwe can be seen trying to greet Tira, but he refuses to talk to him.
“Can Ngizwe step aside, please. I cannot deal with him right now because we are not on good terms," Tira responded.
The event organiser, Nkosinathi Mcabangelwa Ndosi, confirmed the incident.
“Their verbal fight was so bad that it was starting to get out of hand. I had to call them aside and reprimand them. Tira wanted a public apology, but Ngizwe didn’t see the need. He maintained that he was joking,” Ndosi said.
Daily Sun reached out to both Tira and Ngizwe for comment.
Tira told Daily Sun he was prepared to ignore Ngizwe's comments but when he saw him at the event, he could not pretend anymore.
"When I saw him, I couldn't pretend that everything was fine between us. Since he was there, I took an opportunity to express how I felt about what he did. That's why I refused to laugh and take photos with him," said Tira.
On the other hand, Daily Sun could not reach Ngizwe as he failed to respond to text messages sent to him, and his phone rang unanswered.
