DJ SUMBODY’S family members are nowhere near ready to forgive those who killed him.

“We are waiting to hear that his killers have been arrested,” said his aunt, Motlakaladi Moshidi (60).

“WE PRAY THAT SUMBODY GETS HIS REVENGE FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE!”

DJ Sumbody, whose real name is Oupa John Sefoka, died in a hail of bullets in a car in the early hours of Sunday, 20 November, in Joburg.

In the story in Daily Sun the following day, aunt Motlakaladi (60) said people were jealous of her nephew, hence they killed him.

“We hope that God and our ancestors intervene so the perpetrators get what they deserve. At the moment, we are waiting to hear that they are arrested,” she said.

“The family is still traumatised and mourning his death.”

She added that the killers would never take his talent, even though he is gone.

The heartbroken aunt said Sumbody was doing well in music and as an entrepreneur.

Motlakaladi said they were not getting any threats or weird calls.

She added that the family would have a bad Christmas and New Year as they will spend those days without the popular DJ for the first time.

DJ Sumbody was buried at Apel Fourways Cross in Ga-Masemola, Limpopo.

The Monate Mpolaye hitmaker was shot and killed at the corners of Woodmead and Woodlands Drive around 12.30am.

According to the police statement issued previously, cops found two people in a VW Golf with gunshot wounds.

Both victims, the driver and passenger, were certified dead at the scene.
