IN 2021, DJ Mngadi introduced the duo AmaSiblings to the music industry.

He's now back at it again and this time, he is introducing a new musician named Mbali Ngidi, whom he wants to make a star.

DJ Mngadi, whose real name is Sihle Mngadi, said he is aiming big as Mbali Ngidi will release the single Xola Moya Wami

The 40-year-old DJ from KwaMaphumulo, KZN told Daily Sun that the mandate of his record company, Floor Spinner, which started in 2021 after he left Ukhozi FM, is to discover and develop up-and-coming artists.

“There's a lot of talent out there among the youth, but they don’t have resources. As we have travelled all the way, we must help and develop them.

“I introduced AmaSiblings in 2021 and they were big artists that year and I’m now introducing Mbali. I want her to be the next big musician,” he said.

He said Mbali is an amazing talent and people will be impressed by her amazing and unique voice.

“We wanted to give people something new and unique with the song. We fused a Limpopo sound with house music and Afro-pop beats.

“We roped in Mlindo The Vocalist to add his magical touch to the song and we hope it will be a big song,” he said.

Mbali (33) from Verulam in Durban said she has been in the entertainment industry for some time and made her mark in theatre as a performing artist and dancer.

“I've been waiting for this chance and I’m grateful to DJ Mngadi for embracing me and believing in my talent. I’m glad he also allowed me to my tribute to my mother on the song, who passed away recently,” she said.

DJ Mngadi recently released his EP titled Inja ka Gogo
