DJ HAPPYGAL has revealed that she’s pregnant for the third time.
The bubbly DJ from Empangeni, KZN, recently hosted a lavish baby shower where she only invited close family and friends.
Speaking to Daily Sun, she said that she could give birth anytime now. She said it felt good to share the news about her pregnancy.
“I’ve been hiding this pregnancy for long enough. I’m at a late stage of pregnancy and I’ll give birth soon. It feels good that I don’t have to hide anymore.
“You know, as black people, we are forced to keep some things a secret because of our culture and beliefs. As a black woman, I was raised knowing that it is against our culture to flaunt pregnancy anyhow in public. So this is one of the reasons I kept my pregnancy a secret.”
Happygal, whose real name is Happyness Ndlovu, also has two boys.
“This is my third pregnancy. I didn’t want to reveal the gender. I wanted it to be a surprise. But at the baby shower I was forced to reveal it. It’s a boy. I’m going to be the mother to three boys. That’s a blessing for me. We are growing. Time waits for no man.

“I want to have five kids but it’s up to God to decide how many kids I must have. He can give me as many kids as He wants, I will receive. I love kids,” said Happygal.
She got traditionally married to businessman Thami Zondi in 2018 in a ceremony where the gifts between the in-laws were exchanged. The two later split.
Happygal said she wished to not reveal much about the baby daddy.
“I’m happy where I am. I’m very happy. My soon to be baby daddy is supportive. Let me not reveal the details about him though.”
She said that she is the first born of six siblings.
“I know how to be a mother. As a first born, I had to grow up fast and take care of my siblings because my mum was unemployed. I used to take care of them. Now I realised that was training for me to become a better mum to my boys.”
