HE wants to make Mzansi go down this festive with his new song.
Revival Mleta, popularly known as DJ Awakening, will drop a new song called Shemeji on Friday, 22 December.
The song is about cheating and in-laws.
The 27-year-old from Soshanguve, Tshwane, has collaborated with stars such as Musa Keys and Bontle Smith.
The Come Duze hitmaker said the track will get everyone on the dance floor with its irresistible blend of Afro-beat, pop, and amapiano influences.
“Shemeji means in-laws, and the song talks about a young woman.
“She was a kind and gentle soul, but her life took an unexpected turn when she found herself simultaneously pursued by two very different men. What made things even more complicated was the fact that these two men happened to be (in laws),” said DJ Awakening.

He told Daily Sun that the song is a celebration of joy and unity.
“It tells the story of coming together with friends and loved ones to celebrate love and create unforgettable memories. The infectious melody, catchy hooks, and lively rhythms will have listeners singing and dancing along from the very first note."
He said the industry has been hard even though he has been making hit songs.
“It’s challenging because I'm working independently. I don’t have a record label and I don’t want one because of the things many artists have experienced with them,” he said.
“I won’t open any label, but I would definitely help those in need because I know how record labels operate."
