Radio and TV personality Dineo Ranaka is leaving Metro FM after four years.
She’s moving to Kaya 959 to be co-hosting with former Big Brother Mzansi star and Podcast and Chill with MacG co-host Sol Phenduka.
Dineo’s team released the news on Tuesday evening, 14 June.
Her last show will be on Friday, 17 June after a new opportunity came up, according to their statement.
“After four years, Dineo Ranaka’s time at Metro FM has come to an end. Her last show on air will be on Friday, 17 June 2022. This comes after a fantastic opportunity presented itself and the timing could not have been perfect for Ranaka,” it read.

Dineo’s publicist Thapelo Moks did not want to comment on whether she’s moving to Kaya 959.
“We are not commenting on that for now,” he said.
An excited Sol posted a photo of himself and Dineo on Twitter. He captioned it: “Hello radio, my old friend.”
Kaya 959 released a statement confirming that Dineo and Sol are indeed joining the station.
