MEDIA personality Dineo Ranaka has officially left Metro FM.
Her last show was on Friday, 17 June, and it was an emotional one. The station shared a video of her on social media, thanking her for the four years she spent there.
“We thank you @dineoranaka for your years of service and all your hard work. All the best on your future endeavours. Rea leboga ausi o motona,” it wrote.
Dineo’s fans also wished her well, sharing that they would miss her show, especially her views on the relationship segment Ask A Man.
Dineo is set to join Kaya 959 with podcaster Sol Phenduka, after hosting The Bridge on weekdays between 9am and 12pm.
The announcement of her departure was made on Tuesday, 14 June, via a statement from her team.

“After four years, Dineo’s time at Metro FM has come to an end. Her last show on air will be on Friday. This comes after a fantastic opportunity presented itself and the timing could not have been perfect for her,” it read.
Social media user Lungsta tweeted: “Last show today. I’m going to miss your words of affirmation, gratitude and just your powerful presence. Thank you @dineoranaka.”
Gcobani wished her only best.
“I just want to say I’ll miss you terribly on The Bridge. You were phenomenal. I wish you everything of the best. I love you,” he wrote.
Another user Reitumetse wrote: “That is so emotional and heartbreaking. I’ll dearly miss you Dee, I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors, and ko frostana thata ausi o motona.”
Fikile Vezi said Dineo used to make her mornings.
“I’m so heartbroken big sis @dineoranaka. I’m gonna miss you so much twin 16 Dec babies. #TheBridge you made my mornings with your beautiful gift, queen. Love you lots,” she wrote.
